The Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marshes Partnership Project is being developed - in consultation with farmers/landowners, the local community and organizations with vested interest - to protect, maintain and enhance the key features of the area and secure their sustainable management into the future.
The overall vision of the LCGM project is to have, once again, a mosaic of grasslands, rich in wildlife, intersected by a distinctive pattern of water courses. This will be a landscape where both arable and livestock farming thrives and communities have a high quality of life. Local people and visitors are able to experience the cultural and natural heritage of the area, helping to develop and sustain a vibrant rural economy. |
